Business Systems Analyst - UML, CASE tools, Rational, Rational Rose, Test Director, Clearcase Enterprise Architect, Requisite Pro, data modelling, functional specification, URD, user requirement document, Mercury, Rational, QA Load, Winrunner, Testrunner - London

Business Systems Analyst required to work for leading insurance provider in central London. Experience with data modelling tools, UML, Rational, Visio, Clearcase, Pascal case and Rational Rose is essential. You will compile user requirement documents (URD) as well as functional specifications. You will have the ability to identify risks and issues as well on e-commerce solutions.

Working on business critical e-commerce projects you will analyze business requirements from initial stages compiling the URD and working through to the build and test phase alongside the development team. You will have proven experience in structured analysis using CASE tools as well as design techniques. You will hold full responsibility for data modeling reporting into the Project Manager and liaising with a Business Analyst in the Leeds office. You will advise on the business practices and processes and current IT Systems and analyse the impact of the user requirements on existing systems in place.

You will have experience working with data modeling tools such as UML, Visio and Rational Rose, as well as some experience with automated testing tools like Test Director or Winrunner. Ideally you will have come from a financial background or have had e-commerce experience or alternatively have worked with financial services clients. All applicants must have the ability to liaise with senior stakeholders and multiple user groups within the business to understand and define business requirements, to recommend and document accordingly and develop test strategies for business acceptance testing. Experience of utilising UML in a commercial environment is highly desired, although applicants with experience of other formal data modeling tools will be considered.

Compensation: £45,000 - £56,000 / year
