Media Planner Buyer

My client is a buzzing marketing agency based in Buckinghamshire town creating everything from advertising to direct mail to digital campaigns.
They have a prestigious client list and have doubled in size over two years, so it’s no wonder the office is fizzing with energy. With 80 talented people, many of whom are new, they have to throw lots of parties so everyone gets to know each other.
They invest heavily in training, staff benefits and the fussball table, as well as those regular office parties.
They are looking for a Media Manager with regional and local experience who will be responsible for overseeing the planning and buying of all campaigns to ensure they are delivered to a consistently high standard. You will need to be a strong negotiator as you will be responsible for the purchasing of advertising space across a variety of mediums. Experience in print and radio is essential.
You will also be responsible for -
• negotiating campaigns with Media owners
• booking of campaigns
• producing weekly analysis
• presentations on campaign recommendations
• administration of all buying across all clients
• accurate and timely finance administration across all clients
The ideal candidate will possess a good knowledge of various advertising mediums, commercial awareness and an upbeat attitude.
You will have excellent presentation skills, the ability to work well under pressure and thorough attention to detail. You will also have the ability to prioritise daily tasks, time management and be a competent Microsoft Office user (especially Excel).
An understanding of online would be an advantage but not essential.

Compensation: £30,000 - £40,000 / year
