Senior Marketing Analyst

CLIENT:

A leading mail order retail company are seeking a Senior Marketing Analyst to join it’s growing team. Sales are soaring and analytical customer insight is needed to drive the continued success.

You will be required to provide analytical support across the whole of the Marketing team in order to promote the development and production of a range of analytics and insights in respect to the retailer’s marketing strategy. Taking the technical lead on projects to analyze and report on the full range of above and below the line marketing activities.

REQUIREMENTS / RESPONSIBILITIES:

*Manage, maintain and become the technical lead of the smartFOCUS Viper analytical database. *Review and maintain data quality.. *Provide best practice recommendations on analytical techniques to the existing team of analysts. *Work with the online team to understand and take advantage of the synergy between on and offline customers making recommendations to improve mailing and recruitment strategies. *Assist and influence the Marketing team in order to provide insight to increase the effectiveness of campaigns; deliver stronger ROI and sales *Manage the roll out of reporting and analysis capabilities to other areas of the business. *Analyse, report on and make recommendations to strategy to positively influence customer loyalty, recruitment and customer life time value.

SKILLS / EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

*Working with in delivery focused marketing environment. *Working with mail order customer and prospect data. *Understanding of relational databases in an SQL environment. *Ideally have an understanding a mail order and online retail environment. *Comfortable with the underlying principles of breakeven analysis, return on investment calculations and customer lifetime value measurement. *Strong communication skills; able to present complex analysis to a range both colleagues and senior management. *Using MS Excel to manipulate and present data (although use of SAS or SPSS would be highly advantageous) *Propensity modelling experience would also be highly advantageous

POSITION – Senior Marketing Analyst

LOCATION – North West London

SALARY – £35k – £45k plus excellent benefits
